Some stories start with an idea.
Pedro’s father received a terminal diagnosis. While promising treatments existed, they would take years to be market ready. Years his father didn’t have. This heartbreaking reality became the driving force behind Pedro founding Biorce, where he now serves as CEO and Founder.
As Pedro fought to extend his father’s life, he wasn’t simply discovering a problem. Having worked his entire life in the life sciences sector, Pedro was well aware of the inefficiencies of the clinical trial ecosystem. For the first time, however, he came face to face with one painful truth:
The enemy isn’t just the disease. It is the time lost to inefficient processes that keep life-saving treatments from reaching the people who need them most faster.
That experience became our founding principle. Every day we save in clinical development brings life-saving treatments to patients faster.
