The ASCO Demo That Ditched the Booth and Hit the Road

ASCO 2026 delivered plenty of packed sessions and crowded exhibition halls. But some demos and conversations actually didn't happen inside the convention center, but on the streets of Chicago.

During the conference, Biorce took a decidedly unconventional approach to launching Aika 2.0 at ASCO 2026 in Chicago. We love a good booth. In fact, earlier this year, we took home the Best of Show award at SCOPE with a booth that was anything but ordinary. And, if we may add, for the second year in a row. But this time, for ASCO, we had to take things up a notch. Rather than setting up a traditional booth to showcase Aika 2.0, our new AI-powered operating system for clinical development, we transformed an ordinary car ride into a mobile demo experience. And boy did we have fun. And judging by the reactions from attendees, we weren't the only ones.

Aika 2.0 launch campaign concept at ASCO 2026

The concept was refreshingly simple: if Aika 2.0 was built to accelerate clinical development, why not demonstrate it while everyone was on the move?

Over four days, attendees stepped into vehicles expecting a product demonstration and found themselves part of a rolling showcase of the first end-to-end operating system for clinical trials, Aika 2.0. As Chicago's skyline passed by the windows, participants watched live demonstrations of the platform generating protocols, feasibility analyses, study simulations, budgets, contracts, and regulatory documentation in real time. In real time. In minutes.

No crowded booth queues, no rushed presentations, and no sales pitches delivered over the noise of a busy exhibition floor. Instead, intimate and insightful conversations that unfolded naturally, while attendees explored how AI could connect and automate clinical development workflows.

For many attendees, clinical trials didn't just get faster, they got a much more interesting ride.

The launch campaign was a great success for us. And the reactions to the newly launched Aika 2.0 were pure gold. What generated the most interest was Aika 2.0's ability to keep every part of a clinical program synchronized. Rather than creating isolated documents and disconnected workstreams, the platform demonstrates how changes made in one area automatically flow across the broader development plan. The result: a more connected, traceable, and continuously updated approach to study execution.

We succeeded. The ride experience itself became a fitting metaphor for the technology behind it. Clinical development has long been associated with delays, handoffs, and operational bottlenecks. The Aika 2.0 ride campaign captured where we want to go from here: a smoother, more coordinated journey from protocol design through to regulatory readiness.

The team at Biorce made this happen

We’re truly grateful for the amazing team and colleagues who made this launch campaign possible. And for everyone who did not make it to Chicago this year and wants to join the ride, stay tuned. This won’t be the last time we ditch the booth for a more unconventional demo experience and ride campaign.
